Sydney, Australia (Day 2)

Today would be a very busy day for us.

We were going to Bondi Beach, take a cruise to Manly Island, then to Blue Mountain (to see 3 Sisters) and then back to take another cruise later the evening to Luna Park. We planned our trip very early, as early as 7 am we were ready to take a bus to Bondi Beach.

It was early in the morning and we thought we would be the first to get there but were were entirely wrong!! Now I knew why Australia produces many swimmers and surfers and they are not just any swimmers or surfers, they are very good. Well, just look at the beaches and the waves- fine sands at the beach and beautiful waves!!

Bondi Beach in the morning.

The little one was extremely happy having to play at the beach.

Taking a cruise to Manly Island. The ferry will pass the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, so if you want to snap pictures of these iconic structures, my advise is, get on as soon as they allow passengers on board and sit at the top right in front.

Please bring extra clothes if you are travelling with small children. He can't just get enough playing with the fountain there.
This is a good spot for family vacation. If you are travelling with children, you could spend half a day here, at least. You can bring your swimming wear and get into the water.

And do not forget to bring some drinking water.....
"Are you thirsty mummy?"

Taking a train to the Blue Mountain from Central Station nearby at Circular Quay.

From Central Station, we took a train to Katoomba which from there we need to take a bus to the foot of Blue Mountain. The journey was about 2 hours and  we reached there almost 4 pm. Since we were tired and hungry, we decided not to proceed to Blue Mountain. We took the next train back to the city. Alternatively you could drive, which would also take you about 2 hours to get there. Which ever is your choice, please make sure you bring some food and water and everything else you need because it is a long journey.

Before we retreat ourselves to the hotel room, we thought that we should take another cruise from the Circular Quay to Luna Park since the cruise ticket we bought this morning valid for 24 hours.

Admission to this park is free but you need to pay for the rides. When we arrived, the Park is closing. So if you wish to spend more time in the Park, make sure you come early because the park closes at 6 pm.

End of Day 2.
